Oh yes, the sprues were my favourite part of the toys. It fascinated me how they distorted/defaced some of the components. And, yes, the Barrys. For years you offer them a slight nod in passing and then, one day, there they are, captain of some thuggish militia. Life Snow, eh?
This is quite a little world! There is something oddly charming about the sprues that used to come with accessories for cheap toys. A ‘fixation’ which works exactly at the snowflake level. Beware the Barrys.
